CALL FOR ARTISTS: FRESH
Next Generation Arts invites youth artists to submit original artworks to Fresh, our inaugural spring juried art exhibition!
We welcome your diverse interpretations and artistic expressions of the theme, Fresh. Flex your creativity and inventiveness and submit artworks that capture the energy of the new season; explore new materials, perspectives, or techniques; and/or signal a shift in your journey or practice as an artist.
Submitting to Fresh is free! Successful works will be exhibited from June to August 2024 in Next Generation Arts’ new gallery space in 1121 Bellamy Rd N in Scarborough.
Submission Guidelines:
Open to youth artists aged 16-30 years old at any stage of their careers
Artworks in all media are accepted (painting, drawing, photography, textiles, sculpture, installation, etc.)
Artwork must be ready to hang on the wall. Get in touch if you have inquiries about how to hang or install your work.
For artworks that will be hung on a wall, the maximum size is 16” wide x 20” tall.

May 4, 2024 – Submission Deadline
May 11, 2024 – Notice of Acceptance
May 13–25, 2024 – Artwork Drop-offs at Next Generation Arts
June 1 to August 1, 2024 – Exhibition Dates

To Submit:
Complete the submission form via Google Forms and upload images of your artwork. Deadline for submissions is Saturday, May 4.
