Join SPARK (Supporting Peer Arts, Resilience & Knowledge), A welcoming community in Scarborough where high school students can explore their creativity, build leadership skills, and create positive change.

What You’ll Do

  • Explore different art forms such as music, visual arts, poetry, performance, and digital media

  • Build leadership skills while earning volunteer hours

  • Learn project planning, budgeting, and grant writing

  • Collaborate on youth-led community projects with real impact

  • Meet new friends in a supportive and welcoming space

  • Refreshments are provided each week!

Roles

  • Youth Ambassadors (12 spots)

    • All participants are Youth Ambassadors. You will take part in weekly meetings, brainstorm and plan projects, and help bring community initiatives to life.

  • Junior Leaders (2 positions, ages 16–18)

    • Two youth will be selected as Junior Leaders to co-facilitate meetings, mentor peers, and represent NGA SPARK at events.
