Join SPARK (Supporting Peer Arts, Resilience & Knowledge), A welcoming community in Scarborough where high school students can explore their creativity, build leadership skills, and create positive change.
What You’ll Do
Explore different art forms such as music, visual arts, poetry, performance, and digital media
Build leadership skills while earning volunteer hours
Learn project planning, budgeting, and grant writing
Collaborate on youth-led community projects with real impact
Meet new friends in a supportive and welcoming space
Refreshments are provided each week!
Roles
Youth Ambassadors (12 spots)
All participants are Youth Ambassadors. You will take part in weekly meetings, brainstorm and plan projects, and help bring community initiatives to life.
Junior Leaders (2 positions, ages 16–18)
Two youth will be selected as Junior Leaders to co-facilitate meetings, mentor peers, and represent NGA SPARK at events.
