ABOUT THE THEME:
Some works begin with a single mark. Others emerge through layers, fragments, revisions, collaborations, or moments of unexpected inspiration. Piece by Piece celebrates the many ways art comes together—not only in how it is created, but in how we experience it. We're inviting artists to interpret this theme in whatever way speaks to them.

Perhaps your work exists as a diptych, triptych, or multi-part installation. Perhaps it's a collection of small works that become something greater together. Maybe it's a bold, stand-alone piece that represents one moment in a much larger body of work. It could explore process, construction, experimentation, repetition, deconstruction, restoration, or transformation.

Maybe it's the piece that surprised you. Maybe it's the piece that almost didn't happen. Maybe it's the beginning of something. Or maybe it's the final piece that completed the puzzle. There are no limits to how you define Piece by Piece.

We encourage submissions across all visual art mediums and welcome emerging and established artists alike. Whether your work is intimate or monumental, playful or profound, meticulously planned or joyfully experimental, we want to see how you interpret the theme. Together, these individual works will transform our gallery into something larger than any one artist could create alone—a collective exhibition built piece by piece.

Selected works will be considered by our exhibition juror for awards of $250 (first place) and $100 (second place).

We can't wait to discover the pieces you'll bring together!
