COMMUNITY DAYS

Next Generation Arts is excited to bring you Community Days, a series of free, youth-led, and youth-centered events that brings Scarborough youth together to celebrate creativity, connection, and local culture!

Join us this winter for FREE events such as Paint Night, Open Mic Night, and a Community Walk held at welcoming spaces including the Next Generation Arts Youth Hub, local parks, and community spaces. Get to explore your creativity, show off your talents, connect with your neighbourhood, and meet other awesome youth and neighbours! There will be free refreshments. Don’t miss out!

Paint Night
Wednesday, February 12, 2025
5pm–6:30pm

Enjoy a fun evening of artistic expression and connection in a welcoming environment. All materials and refreshments will be provided.

Open Mic Night
Friday, February 28, 2025
5pm–7pm

Showcase your talent in music, spoken word/poetry, or stand-up comedy!

Community Walk
Saturday, March 15, 2025
2pm–4pm

Join us on a two-hour guided walk through Scarborough’s hidden and not-so-hidden spots including murals, parks, and resource centres. REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
