Join us for a weekday evening of creativity and connection at Paint Night! Guided by a visual arts facilitator, you will have the opportunity to create your own expressive art pieces in a welcoming environment. All materials and refreshments are provided, and you will leave with your unique creations to take home.

Participants must:

• Be a resident of Scarborough

• Be between the ages of 13 to 29

• Complete a registration and consent form

Spaces are limited! Each individual will receive a confirmation email to confirm their spot in the event. Participants are required to bring/submit their complete consent form. Completed forms are to be digitally submitted to projects@nextgenerationarts.ca or brought in-person.

Paint Night is part of a broader initiative called Community Days, co-presented by Next Generation Arts and youth collectives SLYE, L’Amoreaux Youth Council, and Empowering Young Women.

Community Days brings Scarborough youth together through a series of inclusive, youth-led, and youth-centered events that celebrate creativity, connection, and local culture. Events such as Paint Night, Open Mic Night, and Community Walk foster a sense of belonging by offering opportunities for artistic expression, neighbourhood exploration, and talent sharing. Held in welcoming community spaces like the Next Generation Arts Hub, local parks, and community spaces, Community Days showcase the power of collaboration and community spirit among Scarborough’s youth.
